About volunteering with RNID

Hear from our volunteers

Our volunteers are instrumental in delivering nationwide support and information to people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus. Their stories show what they gain from the experience, too.

Video: how our volunteers make a difference to our communities

The beauty of volunteering for me is that I can do something really hands-on to help… Residents in the care homes are always so happy to see us, and I have a lovely chat with them as well as fixing their hearing aids.”

It’s the immediacy of literally transforming someone’s life in an instant that appeals to me so much about my volunteering with RNID.”
